Set on Oak Street in the heart of the Gold Coast, GC by George Charles has grown since 2019 into a full hair, face, nail and body destination. Founder George Charles Long — a master cutter and color specialist — built the salon on three principles: education, experience and innovation, and on the belief that a great salon shapes a client’s confidence.
Services
Precision cutting and styling sit alongside dimensional color and blonding, hand-painted balayage, extensions and strengthening conditioning treatments. A dedicated spa and beauty floor adds facials, brow and lash work, threading, waxing and makeup, plus a full nail studio and in-salon or on-location bridal styling.
Technology & brands
Color and care run on Goldwell, Oribe, the Japanese luxury line Milbon Gold and the biotech repair of K18, with Brazilian Blowout for in-salon smoothing. The spa works with Eminence Organic Skin Care, iS Clinical and Farmhouse Fresh, and the nail room with OPI. Stations and tools are kept meticulously clean between guests.
Team & masters
Founder George Charles Long leads a departmentalized team of master and elite stylists, colorists, estheticians, makeup artists and nail technicians. Senior names include master stylists Joseph Stephens, a color, cutting and extension specialist, Mio Sota and Jeri Delgado-Ioannou.

The salon occupies a light, multi-service floor above Oak Street’s boutiques, styled as a calm wellness oasis rather than a busy high-street chair — hair, spa and nails under one considered roof steps from the Magnificent Mile.
